Oonagh has been invited as a guest speaker at the Westport Food Festival, at Network Mayo, and Network Roscommon as well as at the Fine Gael Brexit roadshow in IT Sligo in 2019.  

She has been MC at several events including International Women’s Day in Sligo in 2019, National Women’s Enterprise Day events in Sligo in 2017, 2018 and 2019, Network Roscommon’s Women in Business awards 2019 and fundraising gala events for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute and BPW Gala Ball fundraiser for Aware and STOP (suicide prevention charity)

In collaboration with Bord Bia, the Local Enterprise Offices and Supervalu, a food marketing programme has been developed under the umbrella of the Food Academy, which assists entrepreneurs/pre start-ups/start-ups/small food businesses to develop and grow their businesses, while taking into account the following: Market Background and Understanding the Consumer; Core Technical Issues; and Sales Growth Development and Enhancement.

The Irish Bread Bakers Association (IBBA) represents the interests of the Irish bread industry. It is affiliated with Food Drink Ireland (FDI), a business sector within Ibec. Facilitation of the Sligo Women in Business Network (SWIBN) 2008 – 2022

We have set up and managed several networks including the Sligo Women in Business NetworkSWIBN is a community of female entrepreneurs and women in business which brings together women in different stages of business development, from start-up to expansion. Oonagh has been facilitator since 2009;
