Cabot’s developed a range of fresh dips and pestos from scratch. Our role took this business from start up through growth, expansion and diversification.

Kaffa Coffee took part in the Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers programme in 2019. The project included development of a range of CBD oil-infused roasted coffee and non-infused coffee varieties.

In order to maintain competiveness within the mushroom market, this project aimed to develop new value added products such as Vitamin D enriched mushrooms and exotic mushrooms. A new packaging format, and production processes will allow Gold Circle Mushrooms to differentiate and compete with other mushroom companies. This project was developed in response to the challenges to Brexit which impacted severely on mushroom producers whose export market export was traditionally to the UK. Gold Circle mushrooms looked to farther markets to mitigate their exposure to the UK market.

Crust & Crumb Ltd manufactures a full range of fresh pizzas from 7” deep pan cheese and tomato ideal for the kids to 12” Neapolitan style stone baked pizzas with creamy mozzarella, goats cheese, caramelised red onions and roasted red peppers. The company supplies the main multiple retailers and the food service sector in Northern Ireland and mainland UK. The FUSION project helped to develop new innovative products such as gluten and wheat free pizza bases, biscuits and low GI pizzas, with a focus on the use of more natural and functional ingredients.

The strategic plan will be used to help local agencies in informing and developing appropriate supports for current and future food and drink initiatives in the county.
