Introduction to Organic Farming Course at Gateway Hotel, Swinford. 25 hours FETAC Level 5 accredited. This course qualifies applicants to the Organic Farming Scheme re-opened Jan. 2011.
Commencement Date: Thursday 27th January (1 day a week for 5 consecutive weeks). Times: 10am- 4pm
Cost: €200 per participant. Pre-booking is essential. On completion of the course participants will be proficient in- Interpretation of organic standards
- The principles of organic production
- Assessing economic viability and market opportunities
